Travel Alert: US 101 Hoh River Bridge Closures

WSDOT has announced temporary closures of the US 101 Hoh River Bridge south of Forks due to emergency repairs. Kalaloch Lodge remains accessible from the south throughout all closure periods. Guests approaching from the north may experience significant detours during the following closure windows:

• Overnight closures: September 14-22 from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
• Full closures: September 24-29, October 1-6, and October 8-13

Guests traveling from the north should plan to use the alternate route via Hood Canal, SR 108, SR 8, and US 12. For the latest information, please visit the Washington State Department of Transportation website.

Fire Ban in Effect

A full fire ban is currently in effect in Olympic National Park. Until restrictions are lifted, fires are not permitted in guest room fireplaces or on the beach, and firewood will not be available for purchase at Kalaloch Lodge.
