The Main Lodge at Kalaloch

Beachfront Lodging in Olympic National Park

Kalaloch’s Main Lodge is more than a place to stay—it’s a piece of Olympic National Park history. Built nearly a century ago using driftwood logs that once washed ashore along Kalaloch Creek, the lodge has long been a beloved retreat for visitors exploring Washington’s wild coastline. Today, guests can choose from inviting rooms and cozy suites, many offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Step outside to admire the weathered driftwood scattered along the beach, savor the salt air, and experience the same timeless charm that’s made Kalaloch Lodge a treasured destination for generations.

  • The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, beautiful views of the ocean and decent Wi-Fi.

  • This was our second time staying at Kalaloch Lodge and we will return again when we are in the area. The location on the coast is perfect for exploring the beach. There are also, plenty of things to do and the room we stayed in was very spacious. The food in the restaurant was very good, too.

  • Wow!!! So beautiful I want to go back. The lodge is situated right on the Pacific and the views are breathtaking. We had the Kalaloch suite and it was worth every penny. Some one saved us as we forgot a wine opener and it was lovely to enjoy our wine from a local winery while we watched the sunset. Water pressure was great, the bed slept well.
