Kalaloch's Main Lodge is a legend in its own right. And for good reason. It's been an Olympic Peninsula institution for nearly a century, originally built with lumber milled from driftwood logs that washed up on the beaches near Kalaloch Creek. Today, beautifully weathered driftwood is still washing up on the shore, and people are still flocking to the Main Lodge to see it.
This isn't simply another resort or Washington state hotel, it's the heart and soul of the property: a place where you can swap stories with fellow travelers, cozy up and watch storms roll in, or grab a freshly made, locally sourced meal at our Creekside Restaurant. And when the sun's out, you'll want to take advantage of the outdoor seating to enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets you'll ever see.
In Olympic National Park, nature is the main attraction. Our Main Lodge follows in that tradition by offering an environment with almost no distractions. Rooms in the Main Lodge do not have telephones or WiFi access. The only TVs on the entire property are located in the Main Lodge's deluxe Kalaloch Suite and Becker's Suite. So go ahead - unplug, unwind, and enjoy yourself.
Please note: Pets are not allowed in the Main Lodge.
