Hoh Rainforest and Pacific Coast Private Guided Tour

Enrich your explorations of the Hoh Rain Forest and Pacific Coast on a private guided tour led by Olympic Hiking Co. On this custom private tour, meet your Naturalist Hiking Guide by 9:30 AM at the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center and start your morning with a private guided hike of the top trails within the Hoh River valley. Your Olympic Hiking Co. guide will discuss the natural history of these ancient old-growth trees and identify some of the unique elements of this stunning coastal temperate rain forest. After a picnic lunch, your guide will caravan in a separate vehicle to spend the remainder of the afternoon visiting one of the beaches along the 73-mile Olympic Wilderness Coast on the Pacific Ocean. During the coastal trek, your guide will overview the unique formations of coastal seastacks and identify tidepool sea life if tides permit. The tour will conclude around 2:30 PM at the Pacific Coast.

Itinerary Outline

  • 9:15 AM: Check-in at Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center
  • 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Morning tour of the Hoh Rain Forest (up to 2 miles)
  • 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Picnic lunch and afternoon tour of the Pacific Coast (up to 2 miles)
  • 2:30 PM: Tour conclusion

Tour Cost

  • Tour Price: $450 + tax per group (10% discount for Kalaloch Lodge guests!)
  • Picnic Lunches: $15 + tax per lunch (optional add-on)

Reservation Details

  • Group Size: any group size welcome up to 10 hikers maximum
  • Tour can be customized from nature walks (1 mile or less) to longer day hikes (up to 6 miles)
  • Reservations on a first come, first served basis
  • Advanced reservations of at least one week or more highly recommended
