Ruby Beach
Named for the reddish sand that occasionally gathers on the beach, Ruby Beach is one of the most well known and highly anticipated beaches to visit along the Olympic coastline. Like all of the beaches in the Kalaloch area, Ruby Beach has a tremendous amount of driftwood on its shores, and is notable for the large number of sea stacks in the area (those large rock islands just off the coast).
Ruby Beach is the northernmost beach in the area, and located roughly 6 miles north of Kalaloch Lodge. It is accessible directly from Highway 101, the same road that runs by the Lodge. Book your reservation at Kalaloch today and definitely make plans to visit this amazing beach while you are in the area.
